- What is "Small Business-Fleet Management"? SBFM is a service company specializing in managing fleets of vehicles for businesses and organizations that do not have their own fleet manager.
- What size fleet does that include? Originally, we provided services only to those companies or organizations which operate 150 vehicles or less. More recently, we have expanded our program to include larger fleets.
- I have only two business vehicles. Am I too small to use the service? No, we have had a few clients over the years with only one vehicle.
- Who owns and operates this business? Phil Young and his son Aaron own and operate the business. Phil and his wife Lynn were married for over 39 years until her passing in September, 2008. They have two sons. Aaron and his wife Anna have been married 6 years and have one child.
- How long have you been in business? This business was started 19 years ago. Mr. Young has over 30 years experience in the automotive and automotive fleet management business, and Aaron has grown up in the business working full time the past six years plus gaining 10 years of valuable experience working for related industries.
- What benefit is your service to your clients? Our goal is to do five basic things: 1- Procure and remarket vehicles in such a way as to save our clients money. We not only save our clients money, but we promise them we will save them more money than they pay us. 2- Free up our clients' (and their employees') time that they have been spending dealing with vehicles so that they can go back to doing the job they were hired to do. 3- Make sure that our clients and their employees meet all applicable laws and regulations relating to vehicle fleets. 4- Ensure that all fleet drivers are operating the vehicles in accordance with company policy. And 5- Provide a level of personal service that is unmatched
- What kind of commitment would have to be made? How long of a contract do you require? We have no contracts requiring a time commitment from our clients. We tell our clients to continue to use our services only as long as they feel they are a benefit to them.
